Amway rolls out new skin care line.

This month, Artistry is rolling out Artistry Men, which will include a face wash, shave foam, toner, serum and moisturizer. The products contain DermaSync Complex, exclusive ingredients for oil control and moisture management, according to the Amway brand. Artistry created the complex when its research revealed that since men have higher testosterone levels than women, this triggers more sebum production, which causes more oil and shine. Despite this, men’s skin tends to be drier on the surface, than women’s skin and shaving promotes even more dryness, due to moisture loss, said the company. According to Jesse Leverett, senior principal research scientist at Amway, after four weeks of use, men in clinical studies showed an up to 56.2% reduction in facial oil production and an up to 83.4% percent increase in moisturization.
